RRB Junior Engineer Selection Process
There are four main steps in the lengthy selection process for RRB JE Recruitment 2024. To be eligible for the Junior Engineer roles, candidates must pass each step. The following is the selection procedure:

Computer-Based Test (CBT) 1 Pattern
100 multiple-choice questions spanning topics including mathematics, general intelligence & reasoning, general awareness, and general science make up the exam’s first section. The exam lasts for ninety minutes. Every question will be worth one point, and each incorrect response will result in a 1/3 mark deduction.

Computer-Based Test (CBT) 2 Pattern
Candidates will move on to CBT 2 if they pass CBT 1. There are 150 questions in this level, which are divided into topics including Technical Abilities, Basics of Computers and Applications, Physics & Chemistry, General Awareness, and Basics of Environment and Pollution Control. One mark will be awarded for each question, and one-third of the mark will be subtracted for each incorrect response. The test has a 120-minute duration.
