With a starting price of ₹34,999, Vivo has recently introduced its camera-focused V40 series in India. The 1.5K AMOLED display, IP68 water, dust-resistant certification, Android 14 based on Funtouch OS, and a sizable 5,500 mAh battery are all included with the Vivo V40 5G and Vivo V 40 Pro handsets.

Vivo V40 specifications
The 6.78-inch AMOLED display on the Vivo V40 has a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, HDR 10+ certification, and a maximum brightness of 4500 nits.
The phone’s Adreno 720 GPU handles all graphics-intensive operations in conjunction with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 CPU. Up to 512GB of storage and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM are connected with it.
A 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GNJ sensor with ZEISS optics and OIS support and a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens make up the dual camera configuration on the rear. A 50MP front-facing camera with 4K video recording capabilities is available for selfies and video chats.

The Vivo V40 Pro is priced at Rs. 55,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model and Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB + 256GB option. Ganges Blue and Titanium Grey are the color options. The confirmed date of release is August 13.
The 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage variant of the Vivo V40 costs Rs. 34,999. At the same time, the prices of the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB RAM storage variants are Rs. 36,999 and Rs. 41,999, respectively. The Ganges Blue, Lotus Purple, and Titanium Grey colorways are now up for pre-order, and they will be on sale on August 19.
